First Steps!

I found a few more pictures from VT to add to this post. But the big news is that you've started walking! You are taking between 4-10 steps and then you fall down. You love walking and as soon as you stand up and get your balance, you're off. It's really fun to watch. But for now you are even more dangerous than before. You definitely enjoy walking much more than just standing there and you are not timid about going. If Dad or I are around you'll take our hand and go even faster than when you are by yourself. Yikes... Here's a little video to show a bit of what it looks like. I should add that you are already more stable than this.

Home again!

Well we are back home again! I think you were happy to be back, but mostly happy to be off the airplane. We kept getting delayed on our way home and had a very long trip. You still did great, defintiely the best baby of the 3 on the plane! Well I just wanted to post the rest of the pictures that we have. They are kinda mixed up and some might even be repeats, but here they are:

I think this is our first photo at the beach as soon as we got to camp

First time in the bike (don't worry for the real ride you had a helmet on)

You like it!

Ready for the kayak

This is your first few minutes in the kayak, you definitely were happier after we got going, but we didn't capture that on video

Blueberry picking! I think you ate about 20 and loved them all

Um everyone in the fam is making the same face, except Grandpa, he's smiling!

Out on the raft

Alright we tried to get you standing up on video, but couldn't do it. These are the best we could get to document your stand!

Almost there

Every time you stand you have the biggest smile on your face and usually throw in some giggles!

More VT pictures

Mary Elise- We've all been having a great time in VT! We've visited some of your family living here (great Aunts/Uncles and 2nd cousins) and checked out the old Ryan farm (where Gram grew up). We also had a great beach day and took you out on the raft and the kayak. I think some of the pictures are on a different camera so I'll have to track those down later. Today we went into Church street and walked around and had a picnic in the park. Later we are planning on minigolfing and eating pizza! Your 2nd tooth just broke through today so now you have the top right and the bottom left (silly girl). I miss your gummy smile already, but the teeth are still hard to see. Here's some of the pictures...

Vacation Part 1

Well Lisey- We have been off for our vacation and so far you are doing great, quite the traveler. You started out teething so that wasn't too fun, and you had a rough couple of nights, but it didn't ruin our fun. We spent some time in Pinetop relaxing, exploring the lake, feeding the ducks, playing at the park, and going for walks. You went on your first baby swing and loved it. Hanging out with grandma and grandpa was quite fun too, and they introduced you to bubbles, which you love! They always have a fun game to play with you and you started picking up on most of them really quick. Grandpa taught you how to pull apart the links, and you started throwing the ball with Dad and Grandma. Here's some witness to all the fun we've been having...

Kissaluvs Marvels

Just a quick edit, we won two of these new diapers!!! They have been delivered and are awaiting a washing and then will be ready to use!

Hey Mary Elise-

I want to tell you about some new cloth diapers we will have to try, brand new from Kissaluvs. They are one size fitted diapers in great new colors! You've never worn fitteds yet, but now that you're a squirm worm and sometimes prefolds are a little tricky maybe it is time to try them. These are one size so they will fit you all the way to 40 lbs (let's hope you potty train before that). I love all the colors but my favorite is mocha swirl, I think you'll like them too. The only thing is I would be sad to hide them under a cover :( At least around the house you can go without one. I'm also excited about the snaps, and extra snap in absorbancy!

One other new item is the Cloth-n-go bag. I think we definitely need this, as we still mostly use disposable wipes when we go out because I don't have anything convenient to put the cloth ones in. These items aren't even available to buy yet, but we might have the chance to win some. How exciting would that be?
