P Butter

These are some of your newest words: empty, peanut butter, pony tail, hairy, and I forgot to have you say teddy bear. Just today you started saying 'ham,' even though you still won't eat meat. You can now put 2 words together: 'more cheese.' There's a lot of other examples, I just can't think of any right now. You can also count to 3 with mama's assistance. You really understand EVERYTHING these days and are getting much better at listening even when you don't want to.

You LOVE sitting on high places

We now sport the pigtails quite often

You can't see it very well from the picture, but this is a double rainbow that we could see all the way from end to end! I've never seen one before.

Licking the beater after making daddy's bday cake.

I have to mention something funny you've been doing. Your toddler tub has a kind of well in the back, I guess for rinse water, that never quite gets dried out. When I'm getting the water ready you dip your hand in and say "amen." I quickly realized you think it's holy water and are trying to make the sign of the cross. Too cute!

Christmas- a month later

Well it's taken me a whole month to add a Christmas post. But here it is.

I have to add first that your favorite part of Advent was a toss up between seeing 'Mary, Joe, BabyJees' all over the place and blowing out the Advent candles. I think the nativity set wins actually you loved all of them including 3 nativity sets at Church, one on our neighbors roof, the one on our mantle, and your toy one.

You did great at Christmas Eve mass considering it was very crowded. Then we had Christmas Eve with the Ferences. We had a great time, you figured out opening presents after the first one and then repeated 'op' (open) for all the rest. Christmas day we all came out of our bedroom holding hands to look under the tree. You were so excited when you saw presents! (We prepped you the week before to look under the tree each morning). Then later we spent some time with the Muirs to open more presents, again you loved the whole thing.

The day after Christmas, you woke up, ran to the tree saying 'un' (under) and bending over to look for more presents. You silly girl, you were satisfied with all the toys that were there from the day before.

Well we just recently took down all our Christmas decorations, we waited as long as possible. You cried when I took down the nativity set. :-( So we will be leaving your toy one up all year! You just love Mary, Joe, and BabyJees!
